hi,
i own an 88 crx[d16a8], when i am doing turns or parking i hear a clicking sound.. which sometimes leads to a clunking..
i'm quite certain its the CV's,
but my main question is... can i get a good heavy duty set? or are the ones hanny's provide good enough.. roughly how much should they cost?
i've done a little research... jes can't find any that suit my engine type..
just thought i might take a shortcut and ask.. hopefully someone here has come across this situation with the same model..
thanks

everyone here will some time or another.
Unfortunately - if ur car is resonalby stock - it will be the stock CV joints - which have to be replaced asap.
Take it to Robert at Hannys and get it sorted out...STOCK is best.

thanks mate.
got my next service due anyway..
always been takin my car to rob..
but damn.. he's driveway scares me.. my crx is lowered.. in need of a new front bar... but that can wait..
i prefer to do handling/performance first before i bother with looks..
btw bennjamin, in ur d16a8 do u feel an extra pull above 5500??
i dont know whether its me or not.. but i'm quite certain i feel an extra pull when i hit 5500.. and yeh i am definitely sure i'm not driving a vtec!

yeh i also have a clicking sound when i drive except its only when the wheels are rotating.. i think it may be one of my rims that have been buckled..

if ur car isnt too low...it MIGHT be jsut alittle screw or piece of glass stuck in the actual tyre - "clicking" upon each rotation.
does the "clicking" increase as speed increases ?
