okay so i'm trying to bolt up my itr calipers to my 4x114.3 conversion
but it appears the caliper bracket sits too far in and sits against the disc

afaik the discs i have are 4x114.3 off a lude that i got off yonas drilled to 4x100 at the moment

is it supposed to bolt right up or do i need to space the caliper/rotor out a couple mm? need an answer asap :(

just a thought, could it be because my bracket was shaved to fit the ek4 knuckle?
comparing the stock 96spec itr caliper bracket to my currently ones, it seems about 3-4mm thinner :(

stainless steel washers to space the caliper

washers i got plenty of but only of the bunnings variety
you reckon its safe to use regular washers to space it though?

i have used those washers as wheel spacers with no troubles for years on a old car.

Either space the caliper or get rotors with the correct offset. Bunnings washers may work butI suggest getting longer bolts as well depending onhow muchyou are offsetting them.

yeah i got extended studs

okay i got some washers about 3.5mm thick, though i believe it's a 5/8" washer which is a good 3-4mm larger than the bolt
though it seems secure i'm not 100% sure on this yet although it appears fine and it seems to give it a perfect gap

appears to be about 5-6mm of thread left after the washer goes in, anyone know whether this is safe enough or should i buy some new flanged bolts which are longer?

yeah shaving it to fit civic knuckle is fine, but with my 4x114.3 i need the 3mm back to fit over the disc heh
