sorry i havent mentioned that, in the actual post (which is now up on the first post) it showed that the guy just cut the factory reflector to fit in the projector, which i thought would be illegal... but plz correct me if im still wrong, along with the full set of requirements of street legal HID.

ADRs specify that vehicles equipped with HID lighting systems have auto-leveling and washers.

It's been said a million times.....

the thing is my merc B-class has no washer, and its factory-made.

that's becoz they built it before the ADR rules were out for HID lighting.

and it probably went past the approval stages before they introduced the washers and auto-leveling requirements.

@ Tofu: oh u actually rang the bell of mine. i thought i did purchase HID, but then i checked thru the invoice and found it wasnt on there =(
my bad for the mistakes.

@ LD_Mart : so u did for both headlights and fogs? did u need to install washer (on both main and fog)?
what exact kits did u go for and total cost?
looks sick btw thumbs up for u.

No washers or anything just installed the kit straight in..
foggies took me about 20mins and the normal lo beams took me about 15mins...
Im sure it would take some one longer if they were first timers...
Both kits combined set me back 250 bucks off a guy whos been selling me and my mates HID kits for a while and plenty of others on here.. apollio

XE Blue, Dont know the brand but my fog lights were in my FD for one and half years and then i took them out and put them in my FN for 6months and they are still going strong,
Same with my mums CRV hers are about 2 years old now.

Apollo gives you a one year warranty and will replace anything him self if they go wrong so cant wrong really..
