So I can't afford a type-r :(

Therefore im looking for a Vti-r
This one is fairly modified but sounds good.
http://www.uniquecarsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!unique_content.enquiry?current_rec=45&page_number=5&vehicle_id=5931051&total_rec=68&sort_type=3&price_min=10000&price_max=20000&keywords=integra%20manual

Cant go and check it out (wrong state)

Does anyone know the history of this car

Ohh and if anyone can send me a link to more nice vti-r's for sale that would be much appreciated.

that car looks so dodgey. engine bay is so messy, looked like that radiator blew up and they didnt even clean it up = lazy / bad care.

correct me if im wrong but isnt that a EG/EK civic steering wheel? like wtf ?

if you're patient you could find a genuine type r for around 16-18k ...
Otherwise if interested.... the usual list:

1.revs check....accident..stolen ??
2. Full car inspection by reputable workshop.. (i recommend RAC master check as they check every single thing on the car.. even remove the wheels to measure the brake pads and thread tyre reading..) INSIST ON COMPRESSION TESTING THE ENGINE
3. Use what you found in the above list to bargain... i reckon that car is worth around 11k (personal opinion) nvm what he says about the car being rare and shit cos all the $$ he spent is'nt going to come back anyway...
4. Look into whether the car had factory SRS steering wheel to begin with.. (Vtirs had them) its gonna cost u fair bit to get one.. 200+ for a decent one...and more to fit it properly...

Hopes this helps...

The owner of this car was parting out for a defect sale.
Sound like something you want to be part of?

I agree with what the others have said. Pass this one up and wait for a proper good quality car. Not this one that reeks of problems down the road.

Thanks for your replies.

Yeah now that I look a bit closer it looks dodgey as.

If all the mods were done properly it would probably be a nice car.

I might be going to university in canberra with my excelent grades (sarcrasm). So I'll end up getting an ACT license which means no restrictions on cars.

Will probably end up getting a 180sx.

Thanks for ur help.

but if i stay in nsw ill be getting a honda :)

Although I do agree, modifying a car to your own specifications is both assuring and rewarding. However, it costs a fortune. If you find a good modified car that has been taken care off...your best to take advantage of someone elses losses. Most of the money put into a car will not increase its resale value by the same value (lucky to be 10-20% of its new value). Only real way of making back some decent money is a part out...and revert to stock.

In reference to the car, it does look quite dodgy...if someone is prepared to advertise a car in that condition...then imagine how it looked when he wasnt interested in selling it. Looks very neglected and thrashed.

Andrew.
