yea i bought a car and it only has low beam HIDs and i really need hi beam...

is it as simple as buying H4 hi/lo beams and replacing them ?? and then i will get hi and low beam? or do i need different ballasts to run a hi/lo beam globe?

if i do i guess il just install some phillips halogens.... how do i go about putting halogens back in my car?

Obviously depends on the kit. However the ones i "know", you can just change the bulbs, which also includes the extra wiring. and the ballasts are the same part number!. If you can find the hi/low bubls just do it!!!!!
however if you go back to halogens its just straight plug in remove ballasts etc.

Pretty much it is just buying bulbs for both of your hi and lo beam..
just buy both the kits and you will just wire them up normally..

But think that HID's take a while to warm up there for if you have to flash some one with ur HID's it wont really work...

Sorry thats incorrect if his is a EK then its a H4 which is a single globe for hi&low. Which is why you need the Hi/low bulb not the two seperate!

just get the high and low bulb. Might be able to get you some, will look into it and pm you. Also if you get another set make sure your plug to the ballast is the same, although i have known people to successfully mod the plug accross, just depends if you are handy with the soldering iron :P

nah im pretty crap with this type of stuff... i just hope its easy as putting the hi lo globes in considering the ballasts were only for single beam globes

it not the ballast, its the bulbs and the hi/lo module.
You'll need the wiring from a hi/lo kit cos the module controls the hi/lo beam.
Then you need the bulbs as they slide to engage hi beam

yes you need the hi/lo wiring as it has the hi/lo controller module + need the hi/lo bulbs.
The ballast are all the same except if you have 55w hids

yeah usually cheaper to buy a whole kit. Try one of the traders, you need to know what you want with ebay, and not all the kits are of good quality
