Hey guys,

Does the standard shocks/spring setup have brake line mounts? I'm looking at purchasing a pair of coilovers but can't seem to find any with brake line mounts?

I think they do, my coilovers have the lines zip tied, from memory. Im using buddyclub racing spec dampers.

on this topic (somewhat,) will changing the suspension of the s2000 make the car less twitchy on bumpy roads?

I expect most of the JDM suspension will make it more twitchy.

If you have an early S2000 you could try and source some later model suspension. The rears are softer in later models and should be more suited to rough roads.

I was reading the suspension thread about the bilstein and kw coilovers... do you reckon they would help if they were set at street spring rates?

The buddyclub RSD in combo with the thicker front whiteline sway bar has made my car feel less twitchy.

The suspension is more jarring, but it was a worthwhile upgrade in my opinion. Stock felt tailly, and the sway bar helped massively, then I installed the coilovers and it was an improvement again.

What are the S2000's like in the wet?? I used to have a R33 and i hated it in the wet. Will be interesting to see what its like compared to my previous STi.

Not the most confidence inspiring in the wet. But I love the wet with this car, teaches you to work with the machine, and not rely on electronic aids. It can get out of shape easy if you provoke it.
