Hi
Does 1999 HONDA Integra Gsi Automatic share a same brake booster with B16A EG civic? Can i just swap the booster between these two cars?
Also the wheel hubs....can i swap to each other?
Thanks :)

from what i gathered from OH, it dosnt matter if the doner car is auto/manual. but just in case i would be going for the manual version. also you should really go for the Vti-r brake booster/mast cylinder combo, all bolt in. as for the hubs, yes the DC2 is compatible for the EG. but you will need the whole lot from the DC2, including: knuckle, rotors, caliper, (hub is already on the knuckle). if your referring to the front?

same brake booster yes.
also the same front and rear brakes. That includes disc size , caliper size , knuckle etc.All compatible.

ok...the thing is my B16A eg civic brake booster has a little bit leaking and the left hand side wheel bearing need to replace....at the same time my frind got a 99 DC4 Gsi he doesnt drive it....so i just guess to swap the parts to my EG and then put my faulty ones to his integra...
will that cost a lot to the labour?
for the wheel bearing...which part of the brake system should i swap?
Thanks

you may as well get the complete front end, hubs i mean for both sides. its fairly easy to swap the parts over, but if you know that you cant do it then get someone who knows how do it.

if its an actual EG9 (import b16a sedan) then almost everything is compatible.
Same mounts , almost all suspension is the same , same brakes etc.

No, it is a Aus deliver EG civic sedan si (1.6L original) with B16A conversion....
And the DC4 integra is Gsi (not vtir and type r at all)

ok if its the Si , and nothing else has been changed apart from the engine , then only the suspension parts and rear brakes are the same. Front knuckles + brakes and booster etc are slightly different
FYI the dc4 has the same brakes as the vtir , front n rear. And majority other parts are the same too.

so in this case i cant swap the booster and wheel hub between these two cars??
I know the DC4's can go to the si civic....but i am just worring the parts from civic to DC4 integra.

yes you can swap them , but essentially if you swap the civic bits to the dc its downgrading. Make sense

yes they will 100% work with each other.
You might need to slightly bend the hard brake lines to fit either master cylinder

same as the calipers from the DC2 goin into the EG. you will find that the EG brake line is about 3-5mm too short, so you will have to stretch it ever so gently to make the banjo bolt fit into the caliper.
