Hey everyone!! New member here from Melbourne!

Wife just put down a deposit for her civic yesterday and looking forward to getting it. Seems like the Honda was by far the best vehicle we tried the whole day. At the end of the day, decided to go with it.

It's good to (surprisingly) see such an active online community here! Hope to learn lots from everyone..

Thanks mate :) Not getting the car until this weekend.

It's the regular entry level Civic VTI sedan. Sure beats the living daylights out of the Corolla etc.. after my wife is done with it after a few years, time to me to muck around with it. Have always loved Civics, esp starting with the EG series.. Must be those Initial D videos :D

it is dude.. which state you in? think from my noobie-ish browsing, most members here are in NSW and seems like the content is more geared towards Sydney. Anyway, definitely looking forward to "fixing" up this car after a few years.. *heh heh*

where do you wnna get out to? brisbane?

dammit, seems like after you buy, things go downhill (kinda like buying shares and the price plummetting the day after). This weekend there's a 1 day honda sale, where new cars get 5 years warranty and some other freebies.. *grr*
