i was thinking about buying a HID conversion kit off ebay for about 70 bux

they got heaps of good comments on the HID conversion kits but should i get it ??

wats ur opinion ?

well it comes with all the parts 70 BUX delivered

18 months warranty ... and i think its 6000K or something i gotta check on ebay.

2 Ballasts

One of my mates got a set of 6k HID's for his mazda3 off egay...and its still working like a charm... =).. not sure if its the same ebay seller as your's though....Very good quality considering the price he paid for his(roughly 80 bucks delivered)

nothing wrong with buying ebay hids.

only problem may be the shitty exchange rate at the moment, wish u bought em a month ago :p
Might be same price to get them in aus if u want 6000k, they are probably the most popular in aus.

Yeah, good point VTI, you can get them in AUS dollars from China sellers still for around $80 i got my kit for $84 for 6000k, no problems had em for about a year,

The pic was taken at 5pm when daylight savings kicked in so they don't look very bright in the picture, which doesn't bring them to justice in it, but they are great at night :D

Hey.. thats me =D... I'm the cheapass in question =)

They are good, but they are not as bright as Mu secret HID kits... but then you do pay alot more for them. [keep in mind, they are still brighter than the yellow halogen bulbs]. As long as your using them with projectors and not reflector style headlights, you should be fine

Another thing is the cables arnt as well insulated as the Aura HID kits, but then, AURA kits cost $600 bucks =P
I bought mine from the same seller as the one you linked.

i got a set of ebay about 12 months ago. the instructions were alittle difficult to read in another language, but once i got em in havnt had a problem.

How did u get the xclips to hold the bulb in ur mazda3?
Did ur kit come with a bulb spacer?
