Just started happening today.

clutch is normally springy and hard to press down.
now the clutch goes down half way very very easily and then feels normal.

Also the engagement point is alot lower now as well?

who knows whats wrong? i havnt touched it or adjusted it recently.

thanks!

clutch could be on its way out

why do you say that?
if the clutch is on its way out shouldnt it be slipping? because it doesnt?

Check your fluids. Something similar happened to me and it was the clutch fluid.

yeah i was thinking it might be fluids aswell. gonna have a look tomorrow.

can someone show me where the master and slave cylinders are?

is the master the one just above the clutch? cause that one has abit of a leak from what i saw.

thanks!

Clutch cylinder is next to the brake booster
Slave Cylinder is on the gearbox, its in front of your radiator fan

so what if i have 3 green boxes? doesnt mean i know everything.
even if i had a hundred green boxes under my name it doesnt signify that i know everything.

I don't know if your looking at the right place.
In your engine bay, on the firewall (driver side) master cylinder, next to it is the clutch cylinder.
Follow it from the inside and check if theres any leaks

if your clutch is still hard, and your friction point has moved
Its the slave cylinder playing up man

yeah the clutch is still hard only after pressing it down half way. and yes the friction point is alot lower than it was.

if the slave is leaking does that mean i gotta replace it?

thanks

If you have to drive with it like that. Make sure you keep an eye on the clutch fluid level.

Just keep a bottle of honda brake fluid in the car just incase in need of top up. Careful not to splash some on your paint.
