Are you serious...

Read the f**king manual! Take out the bulb... take the bulb to autoone or the likes. Ask for a new bulb. Screw it in, and Tad daaaaa...

what do mean you the cover keeps spinning?
theres like a square plastic cover you can just pull that off and then the bulb socket should just turn 90 degrees and its free to pull out

danny_2132

yer but i need the tail light which is the one next to it and u have to take the covering off and theres like 4 screws u gotta take out. and the screws dont screw out.

the square plastic cover is like for your signaling ones

and the screw keeps spinning not the cover

i replaced my brake light through that square panel
EDIT:no sorry that was on my EG, i remeber what I did, you push in on the little circle on the trim screw then I popped it out and pulled the trim back enough to reach in and replace the bulb

danny_2132
16-10-2008, 05:33 PM
well there is a pannel covering the bulb socket and im having trouble geting the pannel off because the screws are stuffed and they dont screw out when i screw it, it just keeps spinning and nuthing happens

An41

lol you've totally lost me now, I didnt have to unscrew any other panel to get out the bulb socket except pull back the trim and reach in

16-10-2008, 06:31 PM
well u open the boot and u look inside u see the 2 covers on each side which cover the signal bulbs. between that is a hatch which you have to remove to change the tail lights

im having trouble removing the screws which hold the hatch in place becasue the screws are stuffed.

have a look on page 186,187 on ur manualll

Those are not screws. They are plastic clips. You have to push the center part in to pull the whole clip out,all 7 of them. If you have the child seat anchorage point you have to unscrew that as well. Only then you can remove the whole rear plastic trim,& then can you get to your blown tail light bulbs.

i did not have to undo any screws like that, but this might sound stupid but have you loosened it then attempt to pull it out?

jeffreymui
16-10-2008, 07:45 PM

get a flathead and pry it out.. had trouble with these @@$$% screws aswell.. but ive noticed if you dont apply much pressure and be gently they usually come out .
