88 crx sump

hi i just want to know if i got a sump off a d16a3 integra would it fit my crx d16a8 as i stripped my sump plug hole i know the gasket is the same and the headers are the same but is the sump the same shape

just remove your sump and weld (brazing works best) a nut with the same thread to the sump over the drain hole.

when draining the oil wouldent that nut stop the last bit in the bottom of the pan draining?

Because the nut is the same size as the original drain hole it doesnt make a difference.

i was going to do that but getting another sump would be easier and does the brazing seal well

braizing will seal it up perfectly and sholuldent crack as there wont be any load pushing on the nut.

want to get a sump cause it bottomed out where the plug was and its abit dented on the bottom where the plug goes will it effect it in any way cause its smal dent
