Fujitsubo Legalis R or similar.

Stay away from single exhausts.

Why stay away from single?
Single ftw!

Get a 70MM single for best power gains.

The t1r range from the usa seems to get heaps of good reviews both the duals and singles.
But with the exchange rate at the moment, try wait it out before you get something.
Or go custom

When the car was stock I had a single, too loud and lagged down low. Driven a few other s2000's with singles and i found same thing. Even with my current set up and engine work, ive tried singles and found the same thing.I still prefer a twin set up.

Each to their own.

thanks for the advice guys,
i'll do a bit of research on the legalis-R.

as for the 2 tip VS 1 Tip. i've seen a 1 tip on the S2K, But it doesnt appeal to me. i prefer the 2 tip look.

Look on EBAY and Forum FS threads is my advice. You can easily get a second hand system if you are quick. I picked up my cat back Spoon system for $450.00 used. IT was taken off a car to be sold so it was "de modded" (as so often is the case to make it appear less thrashed) Then I picked up some HKS Headers that were only 20 hours dyno time old for $510.00. I must admit, near zero gains in HP for the headers except in midrange, but they are extremely light and damn they are sexy. My cat back is a single, again not a huge power increase but the sound is heaven and again VERY light. Throttle response is way better too. In all the S2000 is very well tuned at the factory.

Good luck either way!

5zigen Proracer GN+ - Discontinued
Piping is made of SUS 409 full stainless steel and the muffler is made of SUS 304 with an inconel cut-weld finish tip. Same size piping as the regular Pro Racer. This is one of the quietest single exhaust that was made. Slight angle out on the exit. Very rare system.

Sound Clip (http://www.truveo.com/S2K-Exhaust-Catalogue-9-5-ZiGEN-International-Pro/id/1920077257)
5Zigen Pro Racer X-3
Not much information available at this time.

Air Walker - $1,350
This is a dual exhaust system. Unfortunately other then that there is no other information on this system.

Sound Clip (http://www.truveo.com/S2K-Exhaust-Catalogue-11-Power-House-Amuse-R1/id/3529953694)
Amuse Dual Euro - $2,700
60mm piping into two 45mm pipes at the split. This is a full titanium dual exhaust system. There is not much information on this system at the moment, but that it is a very quiet system with some decent minimal gains in power. It weighs in at 21 lbs. Very stock looking system OEM style system. The main benefits of this is the weight savings. Also similar to stock in sound.

http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b33/HvRRZ/S2K%20Exhausts/dualr1.jpg
Sound Clip (http://www.truveo.com/S2K-Exhaust-Catalogue-13-Power-House-Amuse-R1/id/2389137497)
Amuse Dual R1 - $2,750-$2,850
60mm piping into two 45mm pipes at the split. This is a full titanium exhaust system. It weighs in at 12.8 lbs which is very light for a dual system. This has shown to give decent gains of 4-6 hp. A good sounding system that stays below the legal DB levels. There should be no droning with this system. Higher results may be seen with a test pipe.

http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b33/HvRRZ/S2K%20Exhausts/dualeuro7022w-1.jpg
Amuse Dual Euro 70 22W - $2,900
This system is similar to that of the regular dual euro, however it uses 70mm piping then goes into two 50mm pipes at the split. It's another full titanium system and weighs in at 22.5 lbs. Like the dual euro this is another very quiet system, but with better performance gains. Similar OEM look.

Sound Clip (http://www.truveo.com/S2K-Exhaust-Catalogue-12-Power-House-Amuse-R1/id/2451389805)

Sound Clip (http://www.truveo.com/S2K-Exhaust-Catalogue-15-Power-House-Amuse-R1000/id/2422818773)
Amuse R1000 Race - $2,500
70mm piping diameter with a 115mm tip. The exhaust uses a straight pipe integrated design with no silencer. This is the lightest Amuse exhaust weighing in at 9 lbs! I know I have listed other Amuse systems with lighter weights, but this is the lightest because it is 9 lbs as a full header back system. The other systems still need a test pipe to be complete, and will weigh a bit more. This system is very similar to that of the T1R 70RT. Expect similar results as the 70RT, and similar sound levels.

http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b33/HvRRZ/S2K%20Exhausts/r1titan.jpg
Sound Clip (http://www.truveo.com/S2K-Exhaust-Catalogue-14-Power-House-Amuse-R1/id/1706465141)
Amuse R1 Titan - $2,400
60mm piping diameter with a 100mm tip. This exhaust is also made entirely of titanium. It weighs in at 8.8 lbs. Incorporates a resonator, but is louder the the Dual Euro. Good gains both in the mid range and top end with this system.

http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b33/HvRRZ/S2K%20Exhausts/r1titannonres.jpg
Amuse R1 Titan Non Resonated - $2,295
60mm piping with a 100mm tip. Exactly the same as the regular R1 Titan without the resonator. This system weighs in at 7.3 lbs. Should be a bit louder then the regular R1, and possible more droning due to the fact that it does not have a resonator.

http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b33/HvRRZ/S2K%20Exhausts/apexigtspec.jpg
Apexi GT - $600
60mm piping diameter with a 115mm tip. Single exhaust system. Full Stainless steel construction, high flowing and said to give good results in terms of performance. Very good quality build. This is said to be a fairly quiet system, but has been also said to be loud especially with a test pipe, but it does come with a removable silencer.

http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b33/HvRRZ/S2K%20Exhausts/apexin1.jpg

60mm piping diameter with 80mm tips. This is a dual exhaust system. This is a stainless system that weighs 42 lbs. There is not much info on this system in terms of performance, but it is sure to show some decent gains. Perfect exhaust for a daily driven S as it keeps the factory like sound and reduces the low rpm resonance. Increases toque at low rpm.

http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b33/HvRRZ/S2K%20Exhausts/asm60single-1.jpg
ASM S-Special Type-S 60mm $1,232
60mm piping diameter. Same as the Type-T except it is a single exit system. Main benefits over the Type-T is the decreased weight. This system weighs in at 24 lbs.

60mm piping diameter with 100mm tips. This is a dual stainless exhaust system. No other information at this time.

http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b33/HvRRZ/S2K%20Exhausts/buddyclubspec3.jpg
BuddyClub Spec 3 - $525
Like the Apexi N1, it comes with a removable silencer. Sounds almost stock with it in and very aggressive when removed. Mufflers are made with SUS304 stainless steel, 1mm thick wall material is used for main pipe. 0.8mm wall stainless is used for main silencer. This combination of materials creates a super light weight system. Angled exit.

BuddyClub Spec 4 - $525
The only difference between this and the BuddyClub Spec 3 is that this system has a built in silencer.

BuddyClub Pro Spec - $525
This is also similar to the BuddyClub Spec 3, but is a dual exhaust system. No other information available at this time.

Burk Technology UHV Exhaust
This is a dual exhaust system with 57mm stainless steel piping. This exhaust weighs in at 26lbs with dual full titanium mufflers. The flow rate of this system is the same of a single 80mm system, but is roughly 6db quieter. Sound level is similar to a single 70mm system. Dyno has shown this system be give a healthy increase throughout the entire rpm range both in HP and TQ with the addition of a test pipe.

http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b33/HvRRZ/S2K%20Exhausts/Comptech.jpg
Comptech - $1,070
I believe this system is discontinued. Very good system for a strictly street driven S. Sound levels are very low, but it does have a great tone to it. Gains are minimal at best being mainly in the mid range. Looking or more information.

Greddy TI-C Dual - $822

HKS - $725
This is a dual exhaust system. 60mm piping diameter. Known to be one of the best sounding systems with a deep tone. However, this system has also shown to do nothing in regards to performance, and in some instances there have been recordings of a loss in power.

Invidia N1 Dual - $850
A favorite of many S2K owners. This is a very loud dual exhaust system with high droning. Great looking system that is known to make gains across the board. Made out of stainless steal. Comes with titanium tips, and 70mm piping version is available. More info to come.

Invidia N1 Single - $630
Another great system by Invidia. Loud with some drone. Great gains seen mid range and all the way to peak. An affordable favorite with owners. More info to come.

Invidia V4 - $600
This is a fairly new system. 70mm piping diameter. This is the quietest system available from Invidia. If your looking to just get a little more sound from your exhaust then this may be for you. Being 70mm this should perform well, but there is no real information other then this at this time.

J's Racing FX Titan 70RS Single - $1,545
70mm piping diameter. Single exit full titanium system with dolphin tip. Very light exhaust weighing in at around 10-12 lbs. This system is a bit louder then the other, but still utilizes a resonator to keep levels down. No drone with this system. Best results seen with test pipe. Megan Drift Spec 2.5" - $335-$385
2.5" piping diameter with a 4" tip. This is a cat back exhaust system. This system is pretty loud, and is very similar to the Apexi GT system in looks, but compared with the Invidia in terms of sound. However, this exhaust has the craziest angled exit. Some members have had issues regarding the welds cracking, even issues with the exhaust breaking off at welded areas, but overall it tends to get great reviews. More information to come.

Megan Drift Spec 3" - $415
This is identical in looks to the Megan 2.5" system, but incorporates 3" piping with a 4" tip. This is another cat back system, and is a bit louder then the 3" system.

Skunk2 Megapower - $630
70mm piping into 110mm tips. This is a dual exhaust system weighing in at 32lbs. Made entirely out of stainless. This is the only system seen so far to make the same amount of power with or without the silencers. Great sounding system. Gains seen throughout the entire power band. http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b33/HvRRZ/S2K%20Exhausts/spoondual.jpg
Spoon N1 Twin - $1,575
Same as the Spoon N1 single, but is a dual exhaust system. Would expect similar gains with a little more added weight.

http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b33/HvRRZ/S2K%20Exhausts/Supersprint.jpg
Supersprint
Looks very much like a stock AP2 system. Exhaust tips are a bit different. Comes in two versions. Regular system, and a non resonated system. The regular gives you a little bit of a deeper exhaust note over stock, but it's very good for daily use. The non resonated version is louder, and has a deeper tone. Not much other information at this time.

Good luck either way!

single exhaust with HKS 4-1 header is a super sexy sound! has abit of a rumble similar to the wrx's....

Single exhausts will usually yield better gains. Trust has a full titanium single outlet exhaust for just a tad over $1k.

Maybe check to see if you have a local exhuast pipe manufacturer around the place and get them to make one up for you just how you want it? Thats what I did , turned out a lot cheaper and just how I wanted.

so do you drive with them in or out?

Ive changed the resonator on mine so its a little quieter now and i drive with the silencers out.

I drive with them in 24/7.

I'm going to be ditching the Test Pipe for some dyno runs to see the difference so we'll go from there again.

Hey Guys

Just installed the Fujitsubo L, Very haappy with the end result.

if you Granny drive and leave the revs under 3 and you dont even notice its there.
Give the car abit of a push, awesome sound from the exhaust.

I've heard better from other (more expensive) ones, but if you have a budget, i'd recommend the Fujitsubo.

I managed to get 2nd hand one off a friend of a friend for $900. lucky he lived only 10 minutes away. so no shipping.

I have tried asking traders here on OzHonda, but no one has any atm, or they have to order them.

And with exhange rates at this time... i doubt you'll get a new one for less then 1300 though.
