Hi, I just installed this aftermarket armrest on my jazz, it costs $110 delivered from oversea, though its quality not as good as OEM one, compare to cost $600 from dealer, I am quite happy to own this cheaper one, have a look!

Nice man!

The fake leather goes pretty well with the rest of the trim.

I love the red stitching. If you get a leather steering with red stitching that would be a nice match.

The rims go well too..

me is droolzing.. http://superemoticons.com/emoticons/drooling/019-%5BDrooling%5D-%5BSuperEmoticons.com%5D.gif

I've seen AU websites of leather shops who advertise similar work. I'm not sure it would be at the same level as that.. I'll have to dig around.

Could only find links for Sydney and Melbourne..

http://www.blackmanandsons.com.au/index.htm

http://www.autoseatandsun.com.au/LeatherImages.aspx

You might want to call them and see who they recommend in Brisbane.

I had an over the phone quote for my Mazda 3 of $2.2K full leather seats and doors with Blackman & Sons.

From the pictures, the Melbourne place looks like a job more closer to the one we saw from that Singapore site.

Found a QLD place... Mt Gravatt. They look good but I would be careful not to be talked into getting wierd colours!

rs kit, nice choice. my audio project;'s kinda delay atm, i'm gonna get started as soon as exams are over. It might take a while cause i'm considering sound deadening. while i';m at it, how much did your entire sound system cost you? pm if you prefer to.

ya, I like rs kit over the L/G one, but i have to find some good workshop to finish their painting, coz they come with unpainted. I got a quote of paint the whole kit for $660 without fitting, but i think it still too much to me.

Sweetness man..

An RS Mugen kit on your VTi Cerulean Metallic Blue will look the bomb for sure.

Your Accord V6L looks great if the Jazz job is anything like that it will be fantastic. Bastard!!! So jealous.

sumner park did my kit for 450. lip, skirts, bumper. It could be a bit more for metallic. Ur kit is genuine then dont bother with installation, it will be a snug fit. just unbolt the stock and bolt on mugen one. SAVe $$$

my kit not genuine this time, but it should be same quality as genuine one, I hope I can find the best deal on paint job later

your armrest looks really nice, is it hard to install?

i've been looking at the genuine armrest for the 09 vti-s, saw the youtube video of installing it and it seems like a massive job for a car n00b....

dyljoy
10-05-2009, 03:00 PM
haha. ya, i saw that clip as well, massvie work. but mine is easy, just plug and play with 3M tape to stick on, not perfect stable as OEM one, but I installed it just for look, who care.

3riC
10-05-2009, 03:07 PM
plug and play? awesome! i dont care about stablitily, well not really. just wanna chuck some coins and phone in there.

3M tape ftw!

is there a video around on how to install your armrest or similar?

dyljoy
10-05-2009, 03:10 PM
no, i don't think so, in face it comes with few screws but i found it not fit and i understood that as fake one, so i just use 3m tape to stick it on. No need any instruction actually, u know how to do when u get one. Where are u locate, btw?
if u around brisbane, i can help, hoho

The factory armrest fitted at my trade price was $323.10.
I wouldn't be bothered trying to install it.

It can fold up vertically out of the way and you can "slide" the lid forward into a number of extended positions to make for an ideal comfort setting.

Fully extended it does make getting to the handbrake a little tight.

Go to the Ultimate Jazz topic thread and you'll see it there.
