Ok so i needed a more bling bling muffler, but as always wanted something with the added 'umph' to handle my little monster (Have a look at my build thread ;)) + be quiet enough on my old ears.

Anway i went to a place i trust, where else but Performance Exhaust at Northmead (Anyone wanting the address & contact details can PM me).

Anyway back to the review.
Now i had a biggest & largest canon that you could buy. It was also very quiet, but i thought i would get a different look.

So the recommendation was Mangaflow's new stainless steel range.
Mandrel bent internal pipe with slight offset, double insulated.

let's say my first thoughts were sceptical, but Hakan promised me that if it did not perform as good as my old one...'ahmmm' let's just say he made a statement that you could not go back on!;)

Anyway after i installed its here's my thoughts.

Sound - on idle it is about the same as the old one. On full throttle it has a slightly angrier note. We did a DB test on the car and at 5.5k rpm it only came up with a max of 82db!!!! certainly within the legal limits.
Note i only have 1 small reasonator.

Performance - didn't notice any difference, but then i had a straight thru muffler before, can't get better than that.

So overall i'm impress with it, came out alot better than i expected.
Something most of you all want, good flow, low noise & nice bling bling!
A must for your performance Honda.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thu mbsup:

Pics to come!

Another +1 for Magnaflow (cant wait to buy mine)

Does it cost extra to get a DB test at Performance exhaust Northmead?

2.5" piping, 1 reasonator, Steel Cat.
DB test i'm sure you can get one if you do a system with them. Usually you get charged for the test, but since i wanted to do a review they did mine for me (also that's what friends are for ;)).

Philbo - dunno man i never asked. I'll get a pic up, can't be too many models the same
