hey guys i hope u guys can kindly help me here.....i got a kenwood headunit in m car now which i wanted to change to those alpine or pioneer ones......are all headunit stright fit? mine is a DC4......there wont be any particular size i need for it right?

all universal Jeff. they are called "single DIN" - that is the space it occupies. pretty much all head units will use the same wires at the back too - power , ground , L+R channels etc so all you do is cut n reconnect teh correct wires. easy.

not exactly aftermarket head units and factory wires sometimes is different, for example yellow might be battery on the headunit and the factory wires might be red, so you'll probably need your test light it will be easier to find battery and remote wire

or even better, buy an adapter for stock-->aftermarket from supercheap :)

suprcheap/strathfeild/autobarn/repco should all carry a product like that.

on the manual or even on the headunit itself theres the wiring diagram. but as ben said aftermarket all universal, just matter of connecting the required wires.
