got the car for almost a month now, and every since the heavy rain bout a week go, the car seems to be making queking noises whenever i hit a bump, which i believe is coming from the rear right wheel
i believe its to do with the stock suspension setup. plan on jacking it up tomorrow and spraying WD40 or Lithium Grease on all the joins.
does anyone have the same problem? any suggestions or ideas?
thanks!

mine did the same thing...but not only during rain..but all day round...and i found out it was due to my rear bumper not attached properly to the car....so yeah...might want to check tat...

Check your sussy and also your lower sway bar...sometime the bolt may be losse...

I doubt it would be the sway bar's bolt is loose cos it'd be making a 'clunking' sound rather than just a squeak - this coming from experience.
Hope this helps.

wd40 probably isn't the best thing in the world to be spraying on bushes, use like silicon lubricant or something.
maybe give your boot latch a looksee too. try wrapping a little bit of electrical tape around it and see how that goes... might help a bit. fixed the rear end squeak on my car anyway.

lol i got the same prob with my dc2r too. But coming from the left side. Not sure if it's the suspension or the clips at the plastic panels. It comes on occasionally.
Bloody hondas have lousy build quality. :p

tried lubricant spray and didn't work :(
looked at the rear bumper, its secure
so where bouts am i meant to tape on the boot latch?
anything in the interior that can be causing the noise (behind driver)
thanks guys
does it make the noise when you shut door hard enough? Or only when driving?

same car same problem. If you can hear the car from the inside of the car while driving, I found it to be the boot lock. I just used a bit of WD4) and that worked!
(I bet you I am right, too ,coz this is the third time ive heard the problem.)

problem fixed! thanks tegraa, you were right! but thanks for the input people
i love the firm suspension setup on the R, just that the damn queking noise made it quite annoying
i reckon the DC2R has shit bbuild quality, since honda put all the funds into the engine. thats why we get squeking noise every now and then !

i concur, my dc2r is 5 years old, bound it squek one day, the grease has to dry up some times, if it were the major components of the car like engine, suspension etc, i'd agree.... thankfully it wasn't :D

lolz.. type R engines better be infallible, they took stuff from the cabin and 'invested' the money in to the performance. I still get hell from my gf because my car doesn't have vanity mirrors on the passenger side. I thank my lucky stars (everyday) she's small enough to fit into recaros comfortably. otherwise..... :(
