hey bro, learn to search

this car gets covered at least once a week

you cant bring it in unless its a personal import. which means you must have owned it for a year wilst living overseas prior to bringin it in. you will need all the relevant rego papers, insurance etc etc etc to prove that you owned it.

a personal import there is no compliance. its just get a blue slip, and youre sweet.

you cannot bring in the ek9

vinnY
22-10-2008, 02:43 AM
can only bring it in as a race only(cams licence needed?) car
or bring it in as a wreck and transfer everything to a new shell

you won't be getting it registered here for road use without it being a personal import i.e. owned for >12months in another country and bringing it here

I've always found importing to be bit of a gamble when i was lookin to import Stagea few years back.

The personal import rule, does it allow you to use import almost any car into Australia? eg FD2R. Own it for a year in UK (Import)/Malaysia/Japan, then with enough proof, drive it on road here? Even without the need for SEVS approval?

Hehe, I don't think they are that cheap! They are priced from $8000 - $12000 AUD, then you have to pay for shipping, taxes ect.

Yes, but that still doesnt help you with registering the car . . .
