Here is a quick recap of the events that unfolded yesterday for the final round @ Oran Park South Circuit
In the morning, there was a driver training day which started from 9am to 1pm. This allow professional driver to sit in the car with us, teaching us the correct lines to apporach the OP south circuit. There was heap of good advice from the professional drivers, but the best of all from this was the track time.
Round 9 of the NSW SS was a Day/Night Event which started from 2pm to 10pm . Lights were setup around the track for sufficient lighting for the night sprints. I must say, the night experience was one not to forget. It was an awesome event, which tested drivers ability to the max. Not only for the drivers, but the spectators had a blast which witness the glowing brake rotors and the flames from the cars.
Congrats to Leo (e240) and the Team @ Toda for winning the Round and the championship. You guys have put heaps of money, time and effort into the car and deserve the win. Next year will be a new battle, which will hopefully show case more Honda's.
And Lastly, i want to Thank DynoDave (yes he is still around) and my brother fatboyz39 for the effort and time you guys put into the engine and car development through the year as well as Bel Garage and Insight Motorsport for the Dyno time. This little B16a wouldnt have got this far without all your time and effort. Its such a nice little package which surprisingly goes very well for a 1.6L. Oh yeh, E85 Rocks! I think its time to retire this b16a after a very long day for it which started its abuse from 9am to 10pm.

The EG achieve a new PB of 50.8sec in the last run of the session (night time). It was an epic run, which show case both me and Leo. Both of us were pushing very hard in the last run but with two crtical mistake under brakes saw Leo's EG pass with raw grunt from his 152kw engine. (Leo, get that video uploaded :p)
Unfortunately, the cam recorder battery died so there were no night session incar vids.
