how have u guys fitted ur head unit i bought a new one today and are planing on fitting it soon but i noticed it has no screw holes on the back i fitted one into my mates DA but his after market unit was diffrent to mine and had holes on the back so we made a bracket and bolted it up that way from the back but yer just trying to get some ideas b4 i start

dont think theres anyway to bolt a headunit in the LS..
your car looks familiar... purchased from a member here ??

yeah it was a tight fit for my headunit i dont think i bolted it on..
and it looks like IZY 10s car

the one in the car now is bolted in from the back with some block type thing does the job but i dunno if it will adapt to the new headunit hopefully it does but if it doesent i will think of something... i hate loose head decks lol if i come up with something good ill post up some pics mabye give someone else some ideas tru

Ah nice so thats where Izy car went.
Maybe you should ask Izy how he fitted his head unit in?

oh hi Sam! They are a bitch to keep secure. Even my dc2r has the same problem. Post a pic of the badck of the new one so i can tell you what to do

ill try get a pic up soon.... my new one has a bolt hole on the bak in the center but i wanna make some sortta bracket so it is supported from the sides too and not just the back

I have an aftermarket unit and it bolted on fine...

When i installed my head unit i just used the standard mounts and used zip ties to hold the head unit in place. Sure people will tell you it's dodgy, but hell i have a straight head unit that doesn't move so who cares lol.

i can fit two babes in my double din :D hehe zip tie them together and save it for later.. play with it here and there when im at the lights.. :P irrelevant ... yes i know.. hehe goodluck with it matey..
