my mate whos doing a service on an accord would like to know if the tappets are adjustable?
has anyone else had a noisy head if so what was the problems?

Definately adjustable, goner have to check the specs on the clearance for each valve lash though......
is the noisy sound, actually like tick tick tick? when does it happen, when the car is cold? when it is warm? 24/7? going up a hill wen the car is under load?

yeah where could i find out the specs for the clearances?
not too sure its a mates mums car

adjust the tappets, but i'm going to guess it's piston slapping.
