Hey everyone,

I've got an 04 Accord Euro & the CD player's been stuffing up for a while (tried cleaning it etc - still malfunction). Since I seldom use cd's nowadays, does anyone know if those ipod adaptors on ebay would work with the Aussie Accord Euro? Like the one below:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2003-2004-2005-2006-2007-2008-Honda-Accord-iPod-Adapter_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2em20Q2el1 116QQitemZ350113653686

Any feedback would appreciated, especially from anyone that's done it.

Thanks!

www.xcarlink.com.au, do a search on the forum too, there's a bunch of people here with xcarlink and other ipod adapters.

i have the genuine honda and it works great, but there's cheaper one that you can buy local. if your going to get it from ebay, i think there's xcarlink, usaspec, pac-audio, dension icelink and so on. just read some reviews on the unit and decide what you want.

I use the Dension Ice link. Works great and lets you control the Ipod using the steering wheel controls.

I bought the genuine Honda adapter, and it's not without its operational quirks (read: bugs, glitches) despite the outrageous price. Honda doesn't strictly list it as compatible with pre-06 models anyway.

The Xcarlink seems to get a pretty good rap on these forums though - and is well priced.

hm ive got the icelink but id advise to go for other products.
the icelink is pretty much dead now(took bout 1.5 yrs to happen), only every now and then will it go to cd-c mode most the time it will onli act as a charger lol.

Thanks everyone! Problem solved......I'm getting an Xcarlink. I knew of it before, but remember it being a lot more expensive than it is now (or my memory's incorrect). Cheers!
