i just got my car bac from the mechanics and now when i turn left it makes a noise on the front right tyre as if it were scraping the inside of the car. has anyone come across this issue? ill be taking the car bac to the mechanics tomorrow afternoon to see what is happening.

why did you take your car to the mechanics for? what was the problem?

check your wheel nuts are tight, they may have been slack on the job

im gonna take as many guesses as i can.lo
-right wheelbearing just screwed up
-if they had to manual turn the crank bolt and couldnt get to it, they probaly could've removed the splash tray and didnt put it back on so thats why it scrapes.
-tyre inflated too much so it dont fit the walls?lol
they removed the suspension unit and didnt put it back on tightly/in the right place
-they forgot to tighten something...

anythng really.lol

yea... maybe you can check your wheel nuts... mite not be tight... but bend down to take a look at your CV joints... they mite be leaking as well that cause funny sound coming out from the right side

take it back to whoever did the job and ask wTf is going on. Its more tha likely relative to the clutch change.

the driveshaft might not be secure. i had the same problem after my clutch install but it was the left side. I dunno what they fixed but it was to do with the little round thing directly in the middle of the stud bolts.

umm it was 650 for the clutch 50 to get it machined 15 for a seal and 30 for a bearing.

so all up 745 and when i went back cuase they didnt screw the shaft in properly they done that for free not that i would have paid them to fix something they screwed up on.

and it could have been avoided if the repairer tested the vehicle thoroughly afterwards. Glad it didn't do any damage :)
