Not intending to hijack this thread but also if anyone knows about tuners in Brissy/Coast areas, your input would be appreciated...

Mr chook since when are civics or integras "boring"?How many people use boring civics in various motorsports as opposed to preludes?get real....

He finds them boring. Doesn't mean they ARE boring.
The same way i see tooo many Skylines on the roads these days. I find them boring. Doesn't mean they are shite either.

Keeping it on track, James from Hondata(Melb) & Dave of Redline Motorsport(Syd) tuned my car in Sydney.

Correct me if im wrong, but doesn't it depend on the ECU ur using whos doin the tuning? Some tuners maybe very experienced with some ECUs while others arnt..

And Stan, i dont think adrian @ razztech can tune, theres no dyno and from what ive been told you need a dyno to tune properly?
correct me if i am wrong tho =)

Hmmmm????? Yes well my DC2 is running perfect. Dean does a very good job (considering the car stays in there for a long time!). I have been to 3 places before Technik Tuning and I will have to say if I didn;t go there my car wouldn't be on the road. He's probably the most skilled tuner hands down! Plus he knows heaps about Hondas. Where did you think BLKCRX got most of his original work done and got some experiences from? Yeah that's right!.

I think that ART is good....... but anyways mechanics are very individual and i believe that all of them are good in certain areas so basically I feel that we should respect all and not criticise them. :D

ART tuned that black dc2r before it shat itsself at EC. then they wrecked a set of valves tuning the new motor, apparently. but who knows...

i'd say go to sydney and use dave flood. his cars win races, simple as that.

Make me an offer I will travel to any city to tune some cars.

i'm assuming you are talking to me-
i spoke to the owner about a fortnight before it blew up, he was telling me about how he got it tuned at ART. apparently the motor blew up because of fuel surge... i forget who told me about the bent valves, but it was one of the same dc2r owner's friends.

so it blew up while on the dyno or after the dyno on his way home or something ????

Fuel surge has got nothing to do with tuning from what i know it's basically either it's was low on fuel and the fuel pump could not supply enought fuel hence, fuel starvation and well bye bye motor..
