Do the 17 x 7 wheels from an Accord Euro fit a 99 Prelude ?

The Prelude has a 16 x 6.5 wheel with lots of clearance.

What are the offsets ?

If the bolt pattern is the same, what is the biggest tyre I can fit on the 17 x 7 rim ?

Anybody done this ? Pictures ?

i think preludes are 4x114.3

and euros are 5x114.3

im probly wrong though

Should have said "99 Prelude VTIR"
It has got a 5 bolt wheel.
I think the "S" model has a 4 bolt 15" wheel

VTiR are 5 stud
Si is 4 stud.

So yes they will fit. BUT find out your stock offset (look on your alloy). the offset might be too high on the euro rims, which mean they will sit in more than the stock prelude rims

Yes they fit, a couple of guys on PA had them on their lude. You need to use 215/40/17 tyres even though euro's come with 225/45 otherwise you will get scrapage.

Both stock rims for 5gen and euro are +55 offset.

You would be looking at 6mm less inner clearance with 7" +55 vs 6.5" +55. Since people have done it though, it must be possible, although you would also need to look at how low your car is vs. how low theirs were.

As pointed out in the linked thread, the recommended offset for 7" rims is +45-50mm.
