well a mates brother in law has them on his del sol and hasnt had a problem, but i was looking at getting some, and was doing some research and after reading what i did i wouldnt recomend it at all

theres been problems aplenty with them, like bending, the shock shaft just plain shearing off..

have a search should bring some stuff up about them

I've bought EF D2's about a year ago (and from that very seller as well). Mine have been great. The only real drama with them, is deciding on which spring rates to choose.

i got a set on my del sol..
im happy with them havent had any issues.

the old models made a few years ago were pretty crappy, but they have improved since them i have heard. i got last years model which was improved on the year before, and the most current model is said to be better.

and the pic that was up about some that were f**ked, what conditions were they put through?? :S

street.. i recon they are good.

track, might go something a bit better.

depending on how much u wanna spend.

i mate got d2's on his MR2. He and I are pretty impressed with them.
The guys at pedders said. Oh no d2's sux, they are always to stiff..
But they installed them on the mr2 and they admit they dont seem to be to hard.

Yeah, just advice and an oppinion.. I don't like hearing about bad things when it comes to car parts.. Because after something happens to it.. I think to myself.. "****, those guys said this would happen, Im such a dumb shit!!"

Which is exactly why Im not getting a Skunk2 Camber kit!! :P

They're pretty good and sat in someone's car which had D2 installed, pretty firm ride i must say. The price seems alright to buy but make sure it does come with warranty and how are you going to exchange the shocks if it does leak etc. As to what I heard that D2 are prone to leaking, well maybe not for all but I am sure I heard a few cases that their shocks does leak even when it is new.

d2 are fine for everyday use. very comfy too i must say. U wont be disappointed for the price u pay and what u get.

People bad mouth it because they mistreat and misuse it.

why get coilovers if you arent gonna drive em hard?

if you just want nice suspension for daily get aftermarket shocks and springs

who said coilovers were meant to be driven hard on???

Sometimes the ability to adjust ur ride height is a comfort, luxury, and conveniance.

i agree. i have heard some things about the d2 coils but only due to people pushing them beyond what they were meant for..

if you want to go hardout, why do people get the street use coilovers and track them? y bother when you can buy the ones made for the track? its the same principle... some people prefer certain traits that coilovers have for their DD in comparison to a similarly priced spring shock combo..
