Does sato have an extra boost being at his home turf? Does Honda have some inner secrets or advantages cos they own the track? is the 130R corner really that tricky?

man I cant wait to see this race! go BAR! go SATO!

yep, straight after the V8's on 'The Mountain' at Bathurst

sato would have done major, major testing and race time at suzuka. see his fill-in for the sacked villenueve last year to come a credible 6th place, also his 5th in the jordan in 2002

so our boy taku would have a strong chance here if the car is on song :D

(last one is an interview with webber and sato, sato confirms he is driving for BAR in 2005 and dodges the sensitive question of why his cars always blow up and jenson's do not :D )

tipping comp still happening this round?

Yeh i do Ferrari 1-2 finish.
Sato was lucky last year at this race, alot of people had failures and his car was stayed "alive" for the race period.

130R corner really that tricky

You must of missed the first corner at China.
Some took it as a double apex others took it as a triple etc.
Now thats a tricky corner.

I'll say it again.
SATO is nothing special.
There is at least 6 other drivers in the paddock who could out drive him.
But i'm glad he is bringing in asian audiences (more money for F1)

tipping comp still this round

Hell yeh buddy.
Every round its on.
Just post it in this thread :D

maybe im missing the bits, but i dont see confirmation of a 2005, except that its implied if his a "strong chance" of getting a number 1 seat.

yep we heard ya the first time, ur opinion is duly noted, and disregarded :)

gogogog Sato!

on the news page on formula1.com it says:

10 October 2004
Sunday weather update - Suzuka unscathed
Well, after all the drama of Typhoon 22, Suzuka looks pretty good this morning, and the relief that the weather veered away at the last moment is tangible.

10 October 2004
All-Schumacher front row in Japan
Michael beats Ralf to pole position at Suzuka, with Mark Webber a highly impressive third on the Japanese grid for Jaguar.

so does that mean its still on??

jackosimm
10-10-2004, 05:12 PM

I didn't like the race or the coverage, no interviews of the drivers or good talking about F1.
NOT HAPPY :thumbdwn:

McChook

I sadly admit - I didn't watch it past Webber's end...
As much as I hate saying it, it is becoming thoroughy boring. I love my motorsport, but after a sensational Bathurst, watching another F1 race which was pretty much shit boring from the word go, with little to no position chages or excitement (or webber). I hit the net and forgot about it - I was that unenthused.

F1 needs slick tyres and no rear wings... It also needs a return to bumpy as shit cars with the awesome sparks....

yeh wasnt the best coverage, must of been squeezed for time cause of bathurst cause they cut right to the starting grid as soon as the program started. Hopefully a one off event for channel 10

Hey Buddy.
It was the Japanese director who did most of the "bad" coverage.
I'm just not happy about channel 10 not showing the interviews.

jackosimm
16-10-2004, 02:02 PM
yeh martin and james kept saying stuff about the Japanese director missing things....ah well Brazillian one hopefully will be better

800ZR
19-10-2004, 04:47 AM
ooops.. i mean they cutted down a few laps during ads.
and regarding to interviews.... even after china GP, Channel 10 only show one question for the interview... not happy....

jackosimm
19-10-2004, 12:14 PM
they tend to show the hole thing, except when the drivers beging speaking in their home languages for there own countries fans.

800ZR
20-10-2004, 01:45 AM
well normally ( channel 9 ) tend to broadcast 2 sets of questions + answer from all top 3 drivers. but now with channel 10, we mainly get one round of questions or sometimes just from the winner.
and one thing that really shits me..... why cant they 7:30 shows ( Big brother + idol) finish on time ! hehheheh

jackosimm
20-10-2004, 01:58 PM
exactly! those friggin shows that go 30min+ over schedule anooy the shit outta me. Good when theres none of the shows on during the season.....
