Hi there,
New to the forum - so hi to all!
I want my JDM EP3 to be serviced but my local Honda dealer refuses to touch it - "we don't do imports". Needless to say i let them know what i thought of that, after 15 yrs of being a loyal Honda client. Boo to Honda Ireland in Ballina and Lismore.
I live in Byron Bay, NSW - does anyone know of an independent Honda specialist up here somewhere? Goldcoast, SE QLD?
Cheers,
PJ

well if i own one, i would do it myself, or bring it to any honda specialist workshop (not dealer)
you should be well prepared if you own import car, at least you got workshop manual, or basic mechanic skills, so if something major breakdown or due servicing, at least you can do yourself
because import car, especially ep3r, you rarely see this car on the street,
prolly that the dealership never seen the car before, so they rather not touch the car at all
so they dont have to be responsible if their spare part may not compatible to your car
if they fix the car and anything goes wrong, you will come back to them
that's one of disadvantages own rarely import car
also, if ep3r has been sold through aus honda dealership ages ago, probably so many peoples would drive one and you will not have trouble like this

i dont know why you would want to take your car to a dealership anyway. the only time i would ever take a car to a dealership is if i had a new car and wanted something fixed on warranty.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I was wondering where Sydney EP3 owners get their cars serviced? Hope to be taking delivery of my EP3 this week - can't wait!!!

Got mines serviced at Hanny's as well. If you aren't sure of what needs to be done, they will follow the DC5R service intervals.
