I just changed my comptech intake to a HKS intake. I got it from TougeTune in Rydalmere. The comptech was way too quiet and I love the sound of the new HKS one.

I've attached a sound clip:

Even tho it doesn't add as much "blings" to the engine bay compare to other intakes, but yea hks intakes sound really nice! so unfortunate that HKS doesn't make a Racing suction for cl9 like the suzuki swift, it looks much better in the engine bay~

How does the HKS intake feel comparing to your old comptech intake?

well... i love the hks scream... the comptech is so quiet that i can't hear anything at all...even over 6,000rpm's...

in terms of performance.. i can't really tell all that much.. it feels like i'm going faster cause of the sound.. but thats just the sound lol..

sorry to dip an old thread but after looking at the touge tune website

whats the difference between the 2 different HKS mushroom head filters?

i know that a few of our OzH Euro members have the green one, whats the difference? yellow one looks abit bigger, does that mean its better? and is that one capable with the euro ? or only the green?

can't see much from there site, but from the parts looks like there is more piping so i am guessing the positioning of the filter.

different piping sections, air filter element is different.

Green - triple layered dry element --> TSX kit inlet - 100mm; filter element - 200mm

Yellow - Dual layered wet element <-- assuming it's oiled; doesnt seem like there is a kit for the euro.
