DC5 Spring Questions...?

Firstly if this needs to go to the Noob section please do so (but i felt it was more appropriate here, though i will get less replies)

I had a search and nothing really came up for this.

Ive heard/read that Acura Rsx springs fit my car (with a 2" raise)

Anyway ive also read that Integra DC5R and Integra S (etc etc) Front springs are the same, is this correct? is there actually a physical difference? (Fronts = 2.5" Bottom and 3.5" top?)

If so is there a difference between the years/Face Lift and Pre Face lift springs? (Spring Rate? Size? Physical size?)

Anyone know?

...also is there someone reading this who wants to sell me there front springs? :)

Facelift and pre-facelift AUDM DC5 front springs are different both in length and rate so there is a physical difference. Facelift springs are also wound in opposite directions whereas the springs are wound in the same direction in the early model. This means that you cant fit an early spring to a late model damper and vice versa because the spring seats are different.

I'd stay away from the ebay no brand springs/sleeves.

I was actually planning (if buying from ebay) some Skunk2's or Tiens.

Just need some confirmation which is the larger front spring...

What particular piece of information do you need about the springs? I can tell you the approx diameter or take a pic of stock 02-04 DC5R springs.

Need to know the measurements to the top hats+bottom? (not failing?)

So need to know if its (close to) 2.5" Bottom and 3.5" Top (or the other way around)

I think that someone must have misinformed you. DC5 front springs are quite large (around 170mm diameter) and they look like this:

In that case the spring is around 172mm outside diameter at both the top and bottom as near as I can measure it with the spring still on the strut. Hope this helps you in some way :).
