Headlight plastic deteriorating?

Hi

I have a 2004 Euro LUX. I have noticed the headlight plastic is deteriorating. It looks like the top gloss is fading or peeling on various parts of the headlight. More obvious on the drivers side but i can see it is starting on the passenger side too. Has anyone of you noticed this?

I thought it was dirt initially but it is coarse like dry plastic starting to flake off. I have not used abrasive solvent. Is this just sun damage on cheap plastic?

I had it on mine too but a quick go over with some swirl remover and a random orbital solved that 'problem' :). You can probably get the exact same finish if you get a towel and some Brasso. Try it :).

Yeah I polish the headlights of all my cars with maguires scratch x, they come up like new.

I wax my headlights everytime I wax my car. Mine is a 2004, no peeling.
