Hi guys,

I found a DC5R from a NZ classified with low kms. I got a mate down there that can check it out for me. I was wondering if i need to go through any extra registration processes etc. Or is it as simple as him shipping the car up to me, and getting it rego'd in NSW. Much appreciated.

You gotta own the car there and live in NZ for more than 1 year.
Then you can bring it here. Allow around $6-8 in freight / custom / registration fee / misc fees.

Oh, so the same rules apply to NZ, given it's part of the oceania region. Well that stinks

Thanks for your prompt response EG5

Would it be possible for someone in NZ to help me out? I'm serious about this purchase, provided inspection goes well. I've exhausted my resources searching for a low kms CW DC5R within Queensland, NSW and VIC

get a cams licence and join a club, bring it in as a race car
