Sorry for making another one of these threads, but i don't think people are having a browse in the DIY where a thread like this is already made

So i thought if i post here, more people would be able to help.

I just pulled my 7.5A Clock Radio ECU fuse thing out, but i am not to sure, because i am getting different responses on which ones which for ECU backup fuse.

I know the easier way would just be to d/c the battery, but just for knowledge of my car on which is which, could anyone tell me

I own a 99 BB6. Which is my ECU back up fuse, so when i want to reset my ECU, i can just pull that one out. Also, whats the other 7.5A (not the clock radio one) fuse do? I've had a look in the manual, but nothing really.

There's really no need to reset my ECU since the only thing I've done is take out my resonator, right?.

But i just want to do it for, what people have mentioned, better fuel economy. Since I've just used $20 of fuel in 2days :(. I know its a bigger engine, and it will eat more, compared to a civic, but damn.

Here's some pictures.

you suck at photos

just pull the neg terminal
it won't help fuel economy if you have a heavy foot

now if you used $20 of fuel in 20k's then it'd be another story

haha ya bandwidth abuser! :)

It's the 100A battery fuse you pull out.Take it out for a good 5 minutes, put it back in,start the car, don't touch anything, let it idle for a good 5 minutes, turn off, turn on and DONE!

You should reset it after any mod.It will make the car run smoother and better on fuel too.
