Buying 04 S2K AP2 NEED HELP!

i am planning to buy this

This is in Sydney, but I'm from S.A so i can't inspect myself as yet but i dont want to be duped into something fishy...

Does anyone know who owns this?

THe thing is, i've contacted the guy, this guy acting on behalf of his gf selling the car. So i asked for the VIN/Eng number... He provided

the following VIN:
JHMAP11xxxxxxxxxxxxx
at instant i saw "AP1"... 2004+ models all SHOULD be "AP2" correct??? The pictures does certainly look like the AP2.

I have yet to confirm with the seller that it may be a typo in the email...I will really need to check the rego slip.

Can somebody help me in NSW? I am already in preparation of the $$$$$ but i guess when time comes, i will know what to look for when i fly to Sydney. I just dont want to waste my time and money to go there and finding out it's a dodgy car...

Also, does anybody know what documents I will need when bringing back to South Australia? NSW Green Slip? Roadworthy Cert? - is this VIC only? (Yes i did a search, i know the process in SA to get registered but not sure what documents from Sydney i will need incase)...

From the pictures, looks like an AP2. Good price aswell...

It is an ap2, well from looks its the "facelift s2000" but the vin number will be ap1 because the vp2 vin is for the f22 version.

All Australian S2000s are AP1 because they dont come with the F22C
