hi all~
got overhearting after i change the cooler water, it just happen when i stop the car, waiting the red light, and it leakin cooler water too when staying, but when car moving it nothing wrong, temperture sitting very low, no leaking water, any1 know wt happen? and car have been sitting for around 12 months before, since this monday clear defect, it never overheat before since i change the cooler water, i had the car for around 3 months, cheers

check to see if the fans are cutting in,
if not its fan switch...

another thing could be thermostat being stuck...


or could be broken radiator cap

did u bleed ur coolant system free of air that sounds like air in the system u might have an 'air lock'

i did bleed the air, i think should be the water pump leakin, coz whenever i drive now, i need to put more water, but just wanna know why only overheat when i stop the car, by the way any1 know how much for change the water pump? i heard it the bloody job, thanks for answear me, cheers

def. thermostat or thermo fan. one or both isnt working and when you stop , there is only hot coolant radiating thru the engine. Hence why temp raises.

get a trustworthy mech to look at it asap

touch the top hose, if its hot, then test the bottom hose should be cold, means theres no water pumping through
