I bought this badge from the dealer (DC5R Rear red H badge 75700-S5T-E11) to replace the back 1 on my Accord (CL9).This was supposed to be a direct replacement.
Now when i compared it to my existing one, it doesnt look like its gonna fit.

http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/redhnexttorearhfh3.jpg/1/w640.png (http://g.imageshack.us/img261/redhnexttorearhfh3.jpg/1/)

Then I went to the front to do the same comparison and
http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/524/redhnexttofronthko8.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/redhnexttofronthko8.jpg/1/w640.png (http://g.imageshack.us/img183/redhnexttofronthko8.jpg/1/)
It seems like it will fit there.

Then i put the badge over the existing one and it seems to be a perfect fit
http://img129.imageshack.us/img129/548/redhoverfronthln3.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
http://img129.imageshack.us/img129/redhoverfronthln3.jpg/1/w640.png (http://g.imageshack.us/img129/redhoverfronthln3.jpg/1/)

Now my question is how do i remove the front H ?
And does anyone know what the part number is for the Red-H badge from the Accord Euro-r (CL7), I reckon this will be a direct replacement for my rear badge.?

The CL7s don't come with a red badge, to remove the front badge you have to cut off the 2 pins behind the original badge, taking the grill out to do this might be easier, you may be able to reuse the 2 washers that holds the 2 pins from the old badge. For the rear, I have no idea, you need to check the spacing of the pins from your red badge to see if they match the holes on the boot, otherwise lets hope EUR003act replies to this thread since he's done this conversion ;)

lol hey! i found the thread...

yeah that badge you have is the EP3 front badge, not the DC5 rear badge...

ok so ive found the correct part numbers:

EP3 Front Red H badge - 75700-S5T-E11
DC5 Rear Red H badge - 75701-S6M-Z01
CL9 Front H badge - 75700-S9A-G00

i mustve got the stock front badge and DC5 badge packaging mixed up :(

sorry buddy! i have now corrected my original post (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1842141&postcount=8)... as for the dealer, im suprised he didnt question it when you asked for a rear badge and it came up with a front badge?

Guys, I originally thought the front badge was gonna be very expensive, and we were convinced that the rear badge code was correct....Aslam paid 260ZAR for it (ordered from Europe via local Honda dealer)...roughly 40AUD....

Sounds like a sweet deal, cos I was interested...I must just wait for his install pics b4 ordering mine:wave::cool:

anyone know how to remove the rear honda badge?

Dental floss will reduce paint damage....

Get some dental floss (any flavour), and run behind the top of the badge only...(its only the thin double sided top tape that holds badge down)..then it just pulls out (no clips to hold badge down).....then you remove the white plastic lugs....then insert new badge which snaps into place:wave:

Here's some pics on my install

http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc161/quest227/backHcar.jpg

http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc161/quest227/RedHOEM.jpg

With the snaps on the back of the new badge, cause the badge to be slightly higher...notice the previous position below badge...polished it out eventually

Hey there the CL9 Front H Badge (75700-S9A-G00) you have listed there is just the original OEM part isn't it? It's not a red badge is it.

I'm still trying to decide whether to do my Graphite Euro or not. It's not a high priority and I keep putting it off as the badhes aren't cheap and I'm unsure about the red against the Graphite Pearl.

Get the badges Mike they'll look good on your graphite Euro. They cost approx.$150 for both from Honda spares. The front one looks a bit big at first but you get used to it.

Damn!!
Every time I see someone write in about this I mean to do the Red Badge thing to my Graphite Pearl MY06 Euro Lux. Tony has also told me to do it and I just never get around to it. Now I will for sure.

Would the part Nos you have now listed be the same for a MY06 Euro Lux?

Thanks heaps!
