I think there was a thread about this a while back which involved taking the seat out of the car and using some cleaning agent then hosing it down... could always rent a wet vacuum cleaner, send it off to get an interior detail..

a pail of very warm water, a drop or two of car shampoo and a clean cotton cloth. Wipe seats. Works with light stains. Make sure the cloth is damp and not soaking wet... And patience

I used a steam cleaner from Woolies... it worked a treat.
Nam/kyobi posted a tutorial. I'll find it in a sec after i say use a very weak detergent and distill it! or your recaros WILL fade into a colour you dont wanna see!
