Hey guys!
Well first of all.. At the moment Im driving a 03 Nissan Pulsar.
You may be wondering.. Why am I here? Thats when I tell you that I am getting rid of this stupid car to get a Honda! Ive had so much bad luck with this car to the point where Im completely sick of it and look to go with something older and cheaper.
Ive got 2 cars Im looking at.
91 Civic Si and a 93 Prelude Si.
Ive looked at the Civic today and fell in love lol. Looking at the Prelude tomorrow. It made me realise though that I wasnt sure what to look for. I have no idea about Hondas.
I loved driving the Civic but what will I find with the Prelude? I personally like the shape of the Civic more.
Anywayz, whatever youve got to add will help me greatly. Thanks. Oh and if you can tell me anything about those particular models.

Sorry but thats the closest i can find to JDM style for the prelude..
Obv you can see that the civic wins hands down modding and looks wise aswell, just depends on yourself dude

Yeah I love my Pulsar but after my first drive in a Honda today Im not gonna be sad when I see the Pulsar go. :)
Ill chuck some pics up of my current Pulsar and whatever Honda I end up with when I get it.
Thanks for those pics. But the Prelude Im looking at is newer.. I think Gen4? Has that ugly nose thing going on lol.. And the Civic is Sedan.. And thanks a lot for that info. Well appreciated.
Id like to say that I wont be modding much whatever one I get.. But I probably wont be able to help it lol.. So much more possibilities compared to my type of Pulsar.

Welcome to Ozhonda Fiasco
Where are you from mate?
IMO Civic>Prelude (but Preludes are Cool to)
If your in Sydney/NSW be sure to come to a monthly some time (maybe arrange with 2 people to come so you may try out a Prelude+Civic?)
Enjoy the Forum (hope to see you around)

For this car.. Im probably go for more show over go, haha.
Um Im from Sydney. I will definately be down for the next meet. Im going to make a decision on which car Im going to buy after tonight. Hopefully get the ball rolling and have me new car really soon! :D

all i can say before you buy.
what is the price youre paying for this civic.
what year model. and kms.
dont get lemonaded. =]

Im paying 4500. 180000 on the clock.
Just called up about a 94 VTi with same KMs for 5500.
What do you reckon?

Can someone tell me the difference between the EG Civic VTi and the Si?
OMG.JAI xD
04-11-2008, 07:35 PM
not much.
both engines are basically the same, minus the sun roof on si.
weight reduction = faster. =]
vti has a sohc vtec engine 1.6 d16y1 on the eg (trust me, not worth the "vtak yo" experience)
si has a dohc non vtec 1.6 engine d16a8 or dohc ZC as jdm.
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=72623
good for comparison
alot of conflict against the si and vti eg civic.
just a suggestion.
add another 3 grand to your 5500 and you can get a integra vti-r with bargaining.
but i know money doesnt grow on trees and a vti or si civic is a good start off.
for those prices up there. i reckon youve got an average deal.
if those prices havent been bargained with, try bring the vti down to 5 even or 4.5 and thatll be a hell of a deal.
Anything is negotiable - Bing Lee.

Yeah those are non bargained prices. I can chuck on more money to my new car budget as I should get a decent 9 for my Pulsar but Ive decided to go cheap. I dont even really wanna spend over 5000.
And in all honesty, not much of an Integ fan unless its a DC5. :P
