hey guys,
my muffler currently on my breeze is way too loud and its too big for the car!
i'm after a smaller muffler, i want it quiet at high revs and have a deeep sound when revved! i don't want anything loud or anything, just want a deep sound up to around 3000rpm thats it.

cannon is usually a style of muffler

resonator is located usually between ur cat and ur muffler, on the b pipe.
resonator just makes ur car quieter by "absorbing" the sound made by the engine

correct me if l'm wrong so i dun get flammed!!

ummm
i see, any idea how much that costs?

i'd want a deeep sound exhaust though, like, very soft but sounds nice!

A resi, or 'hot dog' is like a cannon with a smaller resonating chamber. it mainly removes (as the name suggests) resonating frequencies within the exhaust system (think about a pipe, each pipe will have a frequency with which it will resonate)

Call me odd, but I don't know why you want it loud UNDER 3000... i worked my exhaust for a while to get it to be soft and muffled BELOW 3500 and to get loud above 4000....

just a suggestion, u might wanna get a tanabe racing medallion muffler, a friend got one installed and it sounds soooo nice!! but it has those very crunchy racing sound, not a deep sound. soft around low revs but it screams around high revss

you're gonna have a hard time making it loud down low and quiet up high  . the harder you rev your engine the louder its going to get. just get an oval muffler about 5"x8". lots of baffling volume and get a nice big resonator put in. thats about all you can do. also, if you can, try to get a muffler with a 2" internal diameter. that'll help as well
