for some reason i feel like my car can only hold 40 litres of petrol rather than 50(usual) because when i filled up last time when the needle was near Empty it only cost me 50 bucks and 32 litres (approximate). Not only that my 1994 dc4 only does around 300km per tank so could there be something wrong with the O2sensor? or is my car only holding 40 litres or am i just tripping out?

Been covered before, but.... the manual says 50 litres, when red light comes on you have 10 litres remaining.

Everyone has questioned this at some stage I think, and I've always had more trouble filling up when the nozzle clicks off early with this car, just the design of the fuel pipe, the last bit is really slow.

what T-onedc2 said.

300km for a 32lt tank seems a bit low... sound like you car is running a bit rich...

i normally get around 350-400km for 32 lt..

i had the same problem before...but its just the fuel sensor's problem....and 50L is true....just fill up ur petrol to the max.....reset ur trip meter....and record how many kms u have done when the light comes on.....and go fill up ur petrol.....see how many Ls u can fill up.....but yeah it holds 50L for sure...so i bet its either ur fuel sensor or the way u drive:P no offence.....but i dun hoon around much i get about 460-470 km out of a tank with 98 octane
