Hey Guys
Both my SSCUS SR Sports Seats have now broken! brought off these forums a few years ago.
http://www.sscus.com.my/product_sr.htm
The drivers side broke about a year ago and I just welded it into a fixed seat.
The passengers seat finally broke last night..
Its the mechanism that allows the seat to recline that snaps and break into pieces and its un-repairable!
Can the mechanism be replaced with some other better quality recline mechanism from Recaro's or something?
Once I weld the passengers seat no one will be able to get in the back not to mention its legal..
I really like these seats but the quality is crap IMO
Thanks Guys
Luke

I dont think Monza seats would be much better.
Maybe get a 2nd hand fixed back seat from one of the traders?

if monza one are sold by large retail outlets such as autobarn, ADR approved, then they have got to be somewhat reputable. autobarn are putting their name on the line.

Monza (Autotechnica branded) are decent for the price.
Luke you mentioned that the reclining mechanism broke... is the seat not locking into place as a result?
If this is the case I would hate to think how these seats would deform/break in the event of an accident. Scary that's for sure.

Pretty sure sscus seats are NOT ADR approved. Thats what I was told by the guy I bought them off. One of the old traders on this forum, in a group buy.
I'm sure Monza seats are fine, but they are so ugly and look so cheap...They are ADR approved I think.
