Been done nemerous times.

It will cost you a small fortune to do though.

I would imagine traction would be a big issue.

mainly for drag
and if money wasnt really an issue

ET down the 1/4 mile will depends on too many factors
If everything is set correctly , K24A + boost on say EG hatch will easily do low 11s , high 10s on full slicks.

the issue isn't power... it's being able to use the power. all that power is useless if you can't use it.

Get the set up happening 1st , then worried about chasing 9s.

One of the posts mentions it made around 923 at 32psi.
Also that it was running consistant 9.8's @ 148mph on 30psi

Still has a stock head on it.

worth the watch.
Stock k20 engine handled 42psi before blowing.
cant think of another engine that could do that.
plus making 500whp before blowing.

NA engine + Turbo bad chemical mixture until u built your motor for fully turbo application :p it just not going to last for long run ... well cross finger it will but no one knows.

I heard rumors that Perth has k24 euro turbo ... from mouth to mouth only. i cant confirm yet.

also tuning.
depends on your use, turbo-ing NA on stock internals is fine if you're running a safe tune.
obviously the motor; it wouldnt last as long as staying NA, its just like on steroids. its not natural.

dangerous if you're doing it for times, and numbers.

k24 turbo is going to def have big wheel spin issues, they are much torqueier than the b series motors with a turbo. b series in that respect are more 'street' friendly even at the track possibly but thats another can of worms, also gotta be careful with the gearbox and clutch issues due to the increased torque the k24 produces.

Although they do make massive power on stock motors with low boost and i'd say is fairly reliable if treated correctly.
