Hi,

In terms of buying stuff mods for my accord euro over the internet... are products that state TSX the same as australian version accord euro.

I have a 2005 euro and wish to buy Comptech headers, icebox and exhaust from heel toe automotive and they all state TSX.

My impression is that they are the same but before i place a order..... can anyone confirm they will be direct bolt on to the car? Won't be any problems installing them right?

Cheers

as long as its 04-06 it should be fine well for the icebox i know.

They will fit. Only the Comptech strut bar won't fit without some relocation of some parts.

Does the Comptech Supercharger kit fit on an 07/08 Euro?

I think it will. The differences on the TSX are at the firewall side.

the only problem is the reflash of ecu you need with the supercharger...but physically there shouldn't be any problems

is the problem that you need to ship it to the states?

i don't think anyone has flashed the ecu we have in australia with the hondata tune specifically for the comptech kit. It may not work at all with that ecu.

tony, are you running stock cat + catback?

Yeah, stock cat and cat back.Haven't yet found a cat back that is worthwhile installing(one that gives any reasonable gains).:(

From what I've read, there are only minimal gains to be found with a catback on the cl9. And then the ones that do give any gain are expensive!

yeh only minimal 1-2kw, should just go for top end headers rather than exhaust.

What sort of kw / torque increase did you get from those two? Would the 09 get similar increases?

Thanks in advance.

There are no comptech parts out for the 09 yet.

I've got 06 CL9.I'm guessing maybe 15% over stock but i haven't dynoed my car so not sure,it's definitely improved the drivability of the car,it's more fun to drive now esp.low to mid,it really pulls hard to redline now with marginal increase in noise over stock. There's no mods available for CU2 yet as far as i know.

That's a nice increase right where we need it, it's a relatively easy mod and is 100% reversible.

I was going to just get a cold air intake because the stock inlet manifold looks well designed (but plastic!) on the 09, but depending on performance gains, I might consider an aftermarket manifold.

I really want to get the most out of my car while it's fresh without losing my warranty so after mods that deliver performance but are reversible.

When you can resist using the extra kw... has your fuel economy suffered?

The CU2 has an AFM just after the airbox. So make sure that the aftermarket intake that you get (if you choose to get one), has a place to mount the AFM sensor.

Any reason why you did change exhaust in addition with your headers and icebox Tony?

Can the comptech supercharger kit installed without reflush the ecu? After reflushed the ecu, will it required to re-setup the keys immobliser as well?
