I'm sure someone has done it, has anyone got a link to the apropriate thread - I've done several searches but came up with zilch!
I have a complete EK1 here (just the outside is wrecked - mechanically its still complete) so was just going to take the complete loom (from headlight to tail light) and put it into the EG.
Both are auto. The Eg is twin Carby.
I dont know too much about either car, I've done conversions on different cars i.e commodores, skylines etc so am pretty handy, but i just dont know my way around the civics yet!
Some of my main concerns:
1.Are the engine bays the same size? Even better: Do they share a similar chassis ?
2. Same mounting points for the engine mounts?
3. Do the driveshafts need to be lengthened / shortened?
My biggest concern is that I dont have access to a mig, so I cant weld anything. Don't mind taking some small things to get done elsewhere, just cant be welding up new engine mounting points etc etc.
