i decided to get a new set of wheels as the missus got a new honda accord and I offloaded my old ones to her..

here is a pic of the old one:

here are some pics of the new ones:

http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/6076/newwheels1rx1.th.jpg (http://img146.imageshack.us/my.php?image=newwheels1rx1.jpg)http://img146.imageshack.us/images/thpix.gif (http://g.imageshack.us/thpix.php)

I also just added a rear sway bar and called insurance to list it. Prior to this everytime i listed a mod, they never offered to increase my agreed value so i went through and gave her all the prices for:

Whiteline rear sway bar
Cusco strut brace
Ingalls camber kit
BuddyClub N+ Coilovers
18" KSpeed Rims
HKS Short Ram Intake
Fog lights
OEM bodykit
EuroR Grill

To my surprise, my car was insured previously for 22k and now the agreed value is $28,480 which i'm quite happy with. Only cost an extra $20 on the premium..

hey mate this is your car with the old rims right? You will hate me for saying this - but the old rims are nicer! Get them back from your wife!

I prefer the new set to be honest. The previous set, if i recall correctly, were too thin-spoked for my liking.

i've updated this thread as there seems to be some confusion, the old ones were thin spokes..

to be honest, i prefer the old ones as well, but i decided it was time for a change, bling it up abit = )

all in all i like both so it's no big deal..

Both look nice. I probly wouldn't have bothered changing unless you sold the old wheels for a decent price.

my front was lower before but it was bloody unbearable.. Especially in shopping centres. Its still scraps over most things atm, but not as bad... Would love to have it lower though, maybe one day ill just adjust it lower and see how it goes

your running 19" right?

I just put .QD's car on 19" to half a finger gap you should do that too, shouldn't be too bad.....

but can't tell from your photos cause your weight is transferred to the rear wheels as your on an incline.

I think he has 18s. I'm pretty sure they dont make those KSpeed's in 19's.

they cost $100 if you go to the guy.. prolli around $120 if he comes to you. Your better of getting it professionally done first because they use a specific machine to shave the tyre surface flat for painting.

.QD, guards aren't rolled. My wheels are 18 x 7.5, they're fine. I didn't end up lowering the front today, the coilovers were too tight and couldn't losen them so i gave up..

diggidy dang! Crapdaz adjusted mine and luckily it was only 1 corner that was tight, but we got there.... but this was after we spent hours trying to remove my lock/nut. rattle gun made it waaayyy tight.

also.. if you want to get the walls, make sure there's no tyre shine on ur tyres.. if you've had tyre shine in ur tyres recently, then it may make the colour discolour quicker..

yeah i know.. the sh!t is quite expensive.. cause u'd have to redo them ever couple of months, but the guy said that he's getting new paint in next year which will hopefully last 6-12 months..
