fair enough, time to order new boot? or is it a clamp that has failed?

get a new boot and new clamps. might as well do the entire side as boots are very cheap and its the same labour to do both

boot doesnt look cracked, small amount of grease has simply squeezed out, by the look of them pictures, nothing major, I would say reclamp, and if it occures again then replace, does not look major judging by those pictures

Cheers guys, yea since it was at the exhaust shop on the hoist I took alot of pics of everything for leaks, this is all that I spotted, cleaned it up a little bit and will have a look when it's up on the hoist again soon. :)

its just some moly grease squeezing out the end of the cv boot.
not worth worrying about at all. if your really paranoid then sure you can put another clamp on it (doesnt require the removal of the driveshaft or anything) or you can even cut the old clamp off and get a ziptie around the boot edge and use sidecutters to pull it as tight as it will go without breaking the ziptie (this sounds ghetto but in all truth it will clamp the boot ends just as good as the metal foldable clamps do).

but seriously, its nothing to worry about at all

you could also put some more lithium grease in them with a platistic sringe & then reclamp just o be sure there is still enough grease in them.
Boot still looks fairly now to me

I got bored yesterday and sent my dealer the pic, he just said 135 from melb, lol. The boot is near new so prob get under her on the weekend, clean it up and re-seal somehow, don't like the zip tie idea as you see where my exhaust is, thats a good two inches away... it would melt in no time I'd image
