okay, some i'm up to the wiring stage of my b-series swap into a da3 teg. I've decided to take the path of modding the existing d-series cabin loom through repinning (to match a pr3 ecu), to suit the obd0 engine loom that i got with the engine.

so i laid out the wiring in the engine bay to see where things go, and i've notcied a couple of things.

1. On the loom, there's only a single 3 pin plug that matches the TPS or MAP sensor plugs. I guess my first question is why is there only 1 plug? i can easily create a 2nd plug to run both MAP and TPS, but i just want to know if i'm missing something.

2. the original d-motor only had a single o2 sensor. Now, it looks like i need to run 2 o2 sensors. can i splice the single o2 sensor into 2 wires, or do i need to run a second sensor, and if so, where on my header should i tap to put the first (or second sensor)?

3. The vtec solenoid plug doesn't match anything on the obd0 loom or the hasport subharness i bought. its a single pin male plug, that has a T-shaped fitting? again, am i missing something, or should i just modify it to fit?

1) look harder, the MAP may be on the firewall, if you cant fond it wire it in.

2) never join the two sensors together, its important you run the 2nd wire to the ECU to drive the 2nd O2. its also important to get the O2 order right going back to the ECU ie primary and secondry

3) make it connect one way or another

thanks, i'll look harder and figure it out.

in regards to the o2 sensors, where should the primary and secondary o2 sensors go? there's one at the collector at the end of the header, but where should the other one go? and which is primary/secondary?

is it a factory header or aftermarket.

are you using the B16A OBDO engine loom ?

aftermarket, not sure of brand.

obd0 loom.

there appears to be a tap thats been welded over, its on one of the runners, closest to the timing belt. should i retap that?

on the gearbox, there are two O2 connectors
1 green and 1 cream

the Green one monitors CYL 4 and 1
the Cream one monitors CYL 2 and 3

if you get it back to front the ECU will trim the wrong cylinders to try and correct fuel trim and forever get it wrong resulting in the car running shizen

hmm... okay, i think i need to go back and have a look at things, i think i'm confused..

whats the sensor that goes into the headers?

OBDO B16A has two oxygen sensors on the Headers

some OBDI JDM B16A have a temp sensor in the CAT
