how to remove EK tail lights?? i cant see how too :S

ive ordereed aftermarket Euro style tail lights and i was looking today in my boot at the tail lights if there was like any screws or anything but couldnt see any. how do i remove the tail light on an EK??

also do i need to remove the globes etc or are they mounted already in the housing?

from the inside, open the interior cover and loosen up the screws

Should be a direct plug-in swap. No wiring modifications should be necessary.

Just take a look at the new lights and make sure the plug sockets look the same. You'll be able to tell by looking at the back of the original lights and comparing with the new aftermarket ones.

so basically i remove original lights... then when i remove the light is the globe in there and needs to go into the new tail light or will it be hanging from the car?

soory im a bit new to this

will i need to like take the globes out etc of the old tail lights and fit em in the new one or will the new tail light jus fit over it all??

you will easily figure it out once you start doing it.

its very simple but harder to explain.
you wont have any problems. i was exactly the same as you but just had a go n was easy.

it will depend on the new taillights if it comes with globes already or you need to buy globes elsewhere, the taillight just comes out after unscrewing 3 bolts each side. then unplug the socket.

i found that with my aftermarket tailights they didnt work properly... if this happens. simply swap the bulbs with your old ones. but its such a simpl conversion. three bolts on each one. and its out
