Slimline plates are exactly that, slimline plates.
They much more smaller than the conventional plates in height.
I think you can get them in all colours.

Dude they are in Melbourne, they have VicRoads, a tad different to NSW plates I'd assume.

Slimline plates are a Victorian thing... My opinion is that the slimline would look gack on the rear of the EG since the plate holder is made for a normal sized number plate, but they look mint on the front bumper..

im looking at swapping my front plate into a slimline since my front plate is completely munged from ppl not knowing how to park properly at uni...

neone got any idea how much it costs to get a plate swapped over to slimline ?

yeah I've got slimlines... i know when i baught my plates years ago it was a flat rate for types of plates... price was affected only by number of characters.

Now days its flat rate for any number of characters, extra for different colours, extra for slimline, plate transfer fees and costs more for replacements.

DOnt bother with slimelines on the back, just get them on the front.

slimlines dont look too bad on the back of an eg hatch as long as it is a darker colour car
if it is going on white then dont bother.
