I just bought a 4th gen automatic GL HB - 1990..

It has 140,000k's on it. Just wondering what I should do to test how reliable its going to be for me? Thinking RACV check.. not sure what else?

Any suggestions welcome (total car noob here..)

give it a good old thrashing and see if it is going to be reliable or break down. clearly alwayys got to check oil levels are up and maintain it with a service is 5000kms it will be reliable... if you always check them...

you cant really terst to see how reliable it will be, that depends on how you treat it

service it often, dont drive it like a dick and it should last forever, like all hondas will

lol could trash it but you would kill the Auto :p

Have a compression test done and that will tell you how healthy your engine is

Just keep in regularily services and fluids up and you should be ok.

My Gahkbe (86 AH civic) is almost DOUBLE your k's and though has minimal annoyances she drives fine
